In today’s episode we are focusing on one of the most common baby sleep issues: early morning wake-ups.

In this episode, we discuss:

  • What defines an early morning wake-up: anytime your baby/toddler wakes up before 6am

  • Solutions for early morning wake-ups:

    • Pay attention to awake windows and only allow your baby to be awake for the appropriate amount of time for their age

    • If your child relies on sleep props/crutches to fall asleep try to wean them off of them

    • Sleep environment: make sure the room is very dark for both naps and nighttime sleep and use a sound machine

    • Don’t start your day before 6am
